Product Introduction
The U-type outdoor gantry crane double girder is mainly for general loading, unloading, and lifting operations. It has increased the design of the small trolley track gauge, resulting in a larger legroom and suitable for handling larger items like containers, etc. Due to its structure, this gantry crane eliminates the need for a saddle frame compared to the A-type gantry crane.
With a fixed lifting height, the overall height of the machine is lower than the A-type gantry crane. And the rail distance of its electric trolley is long, which means better operational stability and load distribution. All the design makes it an excellent performance and adaptable to multiple working sites. Its supporting legs increase stability and allow the equipment to move freely on the ground.

Outdoor gantry crane typically consists of the following main components:
- Main girder:also known as a large girder, carries hoists and loads over the span. Two types of single and double girders are available.
- Outriggers:Support frames, to connect the main beam to the ground and support vertical loads. It is designed as a box or A-frame and can be fixed or equipped with wheels to move around.
- Lifting mechanism:lifts and lowers the load. Can be equipped with CD/MD wire rope hoists, Euro hoists, or electric trolleys; single/double speed or variable frequency.
- End carriage/wheel:enables the crane to move along the track or yard. Adopt forged steel or cast steel wheels, equipped with a buffer and a derailment protection device to ensure the safety of outdoor operation.
- Crane traveling mechanism:drives the whole crane to move horizontally along the rail or ground. Including motor, reducer, and braking system; specially designed for outdoor conditions, with dustproof and waterproof protection.
- Electrical system:controls hoisting and traveling operations. Includes control panel, power cord, and braking system.
- Ground rail or rubber tire:supports the crane to move on the ground. Ground rail: suitable for fixed rail. Rubber tires: flexible movement without tracks
